NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION AND COMMUNICATION STRATEGY 1996-1999

Abstract

The development of a National Environmental Education Strategy represents another step in the implementation of Malawi's National Environmental Action Plan. The purpose of developing a National Environmental Education Strategy is to provide a common vision for EE&C and a framework for action which will ensure the fullest possible participation by all sectors and levels of the community. It is also meant to enhance ongoing efforts in environmental education and resource management, and provide an indication of EE&C priorities which need to be addressed.
